Had to use the SOS dermo call today. Was given her number in January for when I flare up.
It's been brewing, but to day....I was crying....so so so itchy.
It started in the car, I was wearing a dress I don't normally wear and almost straight away the seams were irritating me. By the time I got bk home u ripped off dress and was itchy! !!
The itch didn't go away and later while cutting out labels from my clothes I used the side of the metal scissors to scratch across my skin.....OMG it felt amazing.
As I have no nails the itch is never relived....but once I started I couldn't stop. Rubbed all over arms with scissor side.
Now arms were sore.....and Still amazingly itchy....like off the scale
I washed with cold water, applied cream....but still the itch was insatiable.
Now arms red and raised and burning. .....the skin sore and driving me crazy!!!!!
My daughter managed to get me a Dr appointment but I needed to ring the sos number. ...I was crying and feeling really fed up.
Off to a summer ball tomorrow and my arms were glowing.
The woman on the phone at the hospital was really nice but I couldn't get my sos appointment from this week as he is on holiday. So booked for 13th August. Just over 2 weeks.
Dr was good. Allan was fab and paid for medicine.
Have gone on to steroid tablets and cream.
Already I can feel a difference.
Rash I'd now everywhere. . Every single part of my skin....knees....feet....Hands. ...butt. ..thighs. .
Sigh
Not been a good day.
But hoping it will start to improve.
